Monthly Community Club Meetings – All are welcome to join our small but mighty group of parents who help plan and organize activities for the Swanson students, staff and families throughout the year! Check the calendar or school newsletter for upcoming dates. The meetings are held very informally and we use them to socialize and get to know each other as fellow parents. Don't let the word "club" fool you... we truly welcome anyone!

Book Fair – We have an annual Scholastic Book Fair. The earnings from the book fair go toward new books for the Media Center. The Community Club assists in finding volunteers for the event. Volunteers are needed to setup the fair, keep books stocked, assist students, and work shifts during the event.

Conference Dinners – The Community Club looks for volunteers each semester, at conference time, to help provide a meal for our hard-working teachers. We provide a dinner for the teachers both nights of conferences. You can donate towards the purchase of the meals or volunteer to donate drinks, desserts, paper products, setup, or cleanup. It’s a great way to give back.

Directory – Do you want to arrange a play date with a classmate? Swanson CC is proud to compile and share parent contact information in the all-school directory for families who have opted-in to sharing.  The directory is provided free to all Swanson families via our website. 

Movie in the Park – Grab your family and a blanket and meet us on the grassy hill on the backside of Swanson for a kid-friendly movie and concessions. 

Bingo Night – A night of fun playing Bingo and eating Pizza in the cafeteria with other Swanson families. Many prizes are donated by our families for the kids to enjoy! Volunteers are needed to monitor the prize table, write bingo numbers, serve, setup and cleanup.

 Staff Appreciation Week – The Community Club provides treats, tokens, and activities for the staff to show our gratitude for the work that they do for the Swanson students. A variety of volunteer opportunities are available during this week-long event.
